Whoever has taught a man that he can |make| a woman happy in everything she does and lives has set him up for failure. Teach him instead to be present by her side in all of her states of mind and heart and he will become her ally on her journey through life. He will then find it much easier to “make” her happy because as he is his present, she will move in and out of the storminess with more ease and grace. And she will trust him. That being the greatest gift she can offer him to ensure the his (and her) success in her being happy. Which goes along way in his own happiness.
